80cm clean blade by Gieves (Made by Wilkinson), etched with scrolling oak leaves and ropes, GVIR cypher and crowned fouled anchor on a matt grey ground, regulation gilt brass hilt incorporating a crowned fouled anchor, folding side guard engraved with the owner's name J. H. M. G. LANG RN, lion's head pommel, white fishskin grip, in its engraved brass mounted leather scabbard, complete with belt, straps and knot.
