EDWARD VII 1897 PATTERN SWORD AND SCABBARD BY PEARSE AND CO

Description

An 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers sword with an 82 cm pointed unsharpened blade with partial fuller, decoratively etched with Royal Monogram and coat of arms. Marked for Pearse & Co. Floral St. Covent Garden. With a three-quarter basket hilt with turned down inner edge and pierced scrolling decoration. With service scabbard, leather sword knot, belt hanger and outer travelling case. 104 cm overall.

Condition

Good condition throughout. Blade good.
