VICTORIAN NAVAL ADMIRAL'S SWORD Wilkinson Sword

79.6cm flattened diamond section blade by Wilkinson, serial no. 31237 for 1892, etched with scrolling foliage, crowned fouled anchor and crowned Royal arms, regulation gilt brass hilt incorporating a crowned fouled anchor, lion's head pommel, wire bound fishskin grip, in its engraved brass mounted leather scabbard, decorated with bands of oak leaves and a maker's panel, bullion knot. Retains all of its original polish and matt grey ground, repair to scabbard leather.
