Here we have a British Royal Navy Officers tailcoat jacket. Circa 1920's Atributed to PAYMASTER COMMANDER H. G. OSWIN Awarded the OBE in the 1947 New Year Honours See photo's above of him wearing this tailcoat during his wedding and in a portrait (This comes with prints of the photographs above) In the last photo he is in a group portrait with King George VI Condition: The tailcoat has some light moth damage there are a couple of small moth holes, and the stiching around collar is coming away (please study photos)  Sizes in inches Chest: 34'' approx Chest armpit to armpit ;17'' Length from top of collar to bottom ; 41'' Shoulders across the back from shoulder to shoulder ; 17'' Sleeve length from shoulder seam to end of cuff ; 25''  Comes with research Other items from the same officer available
