A VICTORIAN MIDSHIPMAN'S DIRK AND SCABBARD. With a 44 cm straight, pointed unfullered blade, the cross-piece with acorn finials and central crowned fouled anchor. The wire bound shagreen grip with lion's head pommel and ring with sword knot. In a black leather scabbard with brass mounts and twin ring suspension. 58 cm. Condition: Wear and pitting to blade, knot frayed, marking to surfaces.
