NINETEENTH CENTURY BRITISH POLICE OFFICER'S SWORD AND SCABBARD

A NINETEENTH CENTURY BRITISH POLICE OFFICER'S SWORD AND SCABBARD. With a 58 cm curved blade with pointed tip and broad fuller, with narrow steel knuckle guard and shagreen grip and oval stepped pommel. In a black leather and steel mounted steel scabbard, with sprung button operated catch. 77 cm. Condition: nicks to the blade, lower mount on scabbard with repair to hold ion place some wear and surface marking.
