New unused condition  Manufactured by Firmin Serial number on spine Elizabeth II British Infantry 1897 pattern  

Made to current specification and ready for parade and ceremonial use

 

 

This pattern was last revised in 1897

 

The guard is a nickel plated three-quarter basket hilt is pierced and etched with a scroll pattern that incorporates the royal cypher of the current sovereign queen Elizabeth II.

 

The grip is in black fish-skin bound with silver-plated copper wire.
