A GEORGE V MIDSHIPMAN'S DIRK BY ARMY AND NAVY COOPERATIVE SOCIETY. With a 45.5 cm tapering blade with pointed end, etched with Royal cypher and scrolling foliage. Marked for Army and Navy Cooperative Society, Victoria Street, London. The cross piece with acorn finials and central fouled anchor, wire bound shagreen grip and lion's head pommel with ring and sword knot. In a brass mounted leather scabbard. 61 cm. Condition: Degradation to the blade in places, creases in scabbard.
