A 1796 LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S SWORD AND SCABBARD. With a broad 82 cm curved, single edged, pointed blade with broad fuller. With rounded langets, the cross piece with short forward facing quillon, stirrup hilt and rounded pommel. With steel scabbard with twin ring suspension. 96 cm. Condition: A good example with some slight marking in places.
